White River Valley Players’ 23rd annual Harvest Fair
Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 on the Rochester Park.

At the Fair:
Please consider donating an hour of your time to help, either by collecting the suggested donations at the entry gate (one-hour slots are open from, 10-11 a.m., 11 a.m.-12 noon, 12 noon-1 p.m., 1-2 p.m., 2-3 p.m., and 3-4 p.m.) or by putting food on people’s plates as they pass through the serving line at the chicken barbecue. One-hour slots are open there from 12 noon-1 p.m., 1-2 pm., and 2-3 p.m. We could also use some people to help with setting up the tables and husking corn from 10-11 a.m. and 11 a.m.-12 noon. If you can help with any of these things, please reply to this e-mail and let me know when to put you on the schedule.

The Day (Evening) Before:
The crew that puts up the fair “set” the afternoon and evening before the fair needs volunteers to help with that job on the park, starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10. Many hands make the work go faster. If you can follow directions, we need you! If you can’t get there right at 4 p.m., stop by when you can and they’ll find a job for you.

They will also need help with taking down the set and doing general clean-up after the fair is over.
